Precious in the Sight of the Lord | Murrieta Portrait Photographer

1 Peter 3:3-4

3 Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

A couple of weeks ago, I had spent some time with some of the girls and women from my church. It was an evening where we could all get together, study, eat, and just hang out while the men in our church spent their evening participating in their "man day."  Us girls did girly things like have a mini photo session that correlated with what we would study later that night, make Christmas cards in front of a crackling fire place, and just study our roles as women; the way God intended us to be.  We snacked, talked, laughed, and most of all learned from and encouraged each other. I had such a great time and I can't wait for the next one. Here are my favorite pictures from earlier that day.

Quintero Twins | Camp Pendleton Newborn Photography

I know, I know...I'm horribly behind on blogging most of my recent sessions. When it comes to this portion of my business, it is so sadly neglected that I let it overwhelm me when the time actually comes for me to post them. But this is a new 2012 goal of mine... Keep my websites...all of them updated!!!! :) Let's see how I do. But in the mean time, check out my latest newborn session! They are just too cute to be behind on...

Meet Frankie & Lucie. These two angels were born at the fragile age of 28 weeks and now are going strong! They are now 3 months old. Can you believe how tiny they still are?! At first, I was taken back at how little, but how alert and mature they were. They were completely aware of everything going on in the room. Not your average newborn shoot of babies that fall asleep shortly after a full tummy. Even with all the tricks of making newborn babies sleepy for those sleepy & squishy portraits, they wanted to be awake to see what the heck that big black thing was in their faces. :) None the less, I am glad that we have tons of wide eyed shots. If not, you would have never seen Lucie's beautiful blue eyes! Watch out, Dad! I had such a wonderful time with this family and enjoyed every moment with them. Thank you Quintero family for trusting me with your two sweet peas. And a big thank you to my best friend Chrystal for assisting me and crocheting all those wonderful beanies! Here are some of my favorites from the session. If you know me, I'm horrible at narrowing it down, so just enjoy! :)

 Both Mom's & Dad's dog tags <3

They called Lucie "Lucie Bird" because her hair. Had to get a picture of it! :)
