A little more personal | Murrieta Portrait Photographer

I've been so lazy about blogging... this needs to change. I take pictures everyday of things Savannah and I do together, things that we do as a family, or just every day photos that never get shared. I think from now on, I will start posting a lot more of my personal photos on here. Not just my sessions with clients, but things in my daily life that I document.

This morning, Savannah and I baked some blueberry muffins. We do this quite often, and she never gets bored of it! It's so fun to do things like this together. Especially with baby #2 on the way, moments like these with my daughter are so precious to me. It's memories like these from my childhood that I cherish with my mom.

Just one of the perks of baking :)

All finished and ready to eat!

 The grapefruit looked so pretty.

I think she approved of her pastry skills.

Dave & Alex - Engaged! | Murrieta Engagement Photographer

I absolutely loved this engagement shoot. Once again, I had such a hard time narrowing it down. But I am proud of myself, I narrowed it down to HALF. Okay I lied, almost half. :) I seriously have the most beautiful clients, always. Alex wanted to do a 1930's inspired engagement session. She completely styled themselves and I was so excited when I saw them get out of the car! I am so flattered that Dave & Alex were willing to go anywhere I wanted them to for this shoot, which meant 2 1/2 hours away for them. But look at this stunning location! I hope they think it was worth the drive, because we got some amazing pictures of them! :) They both took direction so well and were willing to do anything that I suggested. I love that! They seemed perfect for each other and I can't be more excited to be their wedding photographer in September! Alex is going to be such a gorgeous bride.

Dave & Alex, you guys did awesome! See you guys in Santa Barbara!

Caleb & Kendra | San Diego Engagement Photography

This has to be my favorite engagement shoot I've ever done. It definitely put me to work when I was editing because I'd say about 90% of all the pictures I took, I seriously LOVED. And every single edited picture, I absolutely LOVED. So that's why I have a ton up. I had such a hard time picking, but I did narrow it down 1/2 way. Haha. I met Caleb & Kendra at the home Bible study we used to attend before we moved. They were just dating then, so when she told me they got engaged and wanted pictures, I was SO happy for them! They are such a beautiful couple, who are so genuine and real. Kendra is just so naturally beautiful, she just radiated through my lens. And I have to give her props, she was walking about the wilderness barefooted during her shoot. While poor Caleb on the other hand, had a boot on his foot. You know we got few pictures of that just for fun memories. :) He even popped it up for me! Lol! They were awesome the whole time. Caleb loved the kissing pictures and they went anywhere and everywhere. They even offered to climb that big tree they were standing under! Haha.

Congratulations you guys! I know God will do great things in your lives together. Thank you for letting me share your love with others!
