Sandra & Oscar - Military Love | San Diego Military Couples Photographer

Military love. There's nothing like it. I think all wives and girlfriends can agree to that. It's hard, but you wouldn't choose any other way to live because you know it's worth every day apart, just for those times that you are together.

Sandra and Oscar were such an awesome couple to be able to work with and I'm SO glad Sandra found me. Both were such sweet people who loved to smile. From the beginning, Sandra was just a photographer's dream client. Helpful, super friendly, up for any ideas, and just pleasant over all. Her husband, Oscar, is stationed in Italy and was on his way home for some leave to spend with her. They'd always wanted pictures done together, so this was the perfect time to do so. She wanted something vintage inspired, so I thought a train station would be super cool. We found one in Campo, but it wasn't exactly what we were imagining and we couldn't get a hold of any workers there to find out about photography policies. Sandra was on it and found the BEST location with, get ready for it, with the nicest workers who allowed us free range on the whole train museum. They even opened up warehouses, just for us! We did have one obstacle, and that was the sun. We had to do the shoot during museum hours, and we chose right when it opened. It was still so hot for everyone, especially for Oscar who was in full uniform! But even with the heat, they did amazing.

Sandra & Oscar, it was such a pleasure meeting and working with you two. I wish you the best together!

Sandra's mom MADE her skirt and belt! How cute is it?!?! I might have to hire her... ;)
